after the invention of photography , and artwork no longer had to fulfil the purpose of recording reality . the art object changed again when marcel duchamp used found objects in art. discuss how the development of computer manipulated photography has once again changed the idea of what is art ?

photography has changed artwork because they know longer need to spend time painting to record reality  when they could just take a photo its so much quicker. As cameras were invented drawing was soon lost and not many people choose to draw to record reality when they could just take photo.

Marcel Duchamp was raised in Normandy, in a family of artists. His father was mayor of Blainville and his mother raised their seven children and painted landscapes depicting the French countryside. Family time was spent playing chess, reading, painting, and playing music. One of Marcel’s earliest artworks, Landscape at Blainville 1902, painted at age fifteen. he perfected the concept several years later when he made the ready made.

marcel duchamp made sculptures, but he change the way people looked at art Marcel Duchamp produced anti-art. He thought that society was obsessed aesthetics art in everything. So he made art that had no aesthetic value . He also  wanted to make a statement about how aesthetics were in EVERYTHING like cars, televisions, windows, pens, calculators, glasses… so he went through the process of finding objects that he was completely different objects with no beauty or ugliness. He thought about artistic processes and art marketing, not so much with words, but with actions such as dubbing a urinal “art” and naming it Fountain. He produced relatively few artworks as he quickly moved through .
